In 2022, a significant shift occurred as Arca transitioned into new ownership, landing in the hands of a family deeply entrenched in educational non-profit endeavors across Roatan. Their vision aimed at not only enriching the lives of the island's inhabitants but also at providing visitors with an unparalleled vacation haven they felt was absent on West Bay.
Over a meticulous year and a half, Arca underwent a transformative renovation process. This endeavor was marked by a commitment to preserving the beauty of its original architecture, all while taking great care to safeguard the abundant green spaces that has graced the property for years, ensuring an environment that harmonizes with the natural beauty of the surroundings.
Finally, in December of 2023, Arca proudly opened its doors to the world, marking the beginning of a new chapter in its illustrious history.

Our guests can enjoy dining options right on site. We have a delectable made-to-order breakfast, with service starting at 7 am. Following breakfast, you can indulge in our Ahari menu at until 9 pm. Ahari offers an evolving selection of around eight dishes, reflecting Arca's continuous evolution while ensuring your enjoyment.
To enhance your sense of belonging, certain areas of the property and amenities are exclusively reserved for our registered guests. Want to explore the lovely reef right outside your door? We have quality snorkel gear available to rent for your enjoyment. For a safe and serene environment for all, Arca welcomes guests 12 years of age and older. Please note, all of our dining options are a la carte and not included in the room rates.
